Comments about 12-Tooth CycleTEK Momentum 1 Fluid Trainer:
I've used this as as my main trainer and have put about 1000 miles on it so far. This thing is rock solid, and tolerates powerful sprints with ease; the resistance just keeps on coming. I've had no issues with fluid leakage yet. It's also incredibly quiet, with my fan and drivetrain producing considerably more noise that the resistance unit. The large flywheel and roller are smooth and have a lot of inertia.
The only things I don't like about the trainer are it's weight (35ish pounds) and some difficulties I've had with wheel slippage. The weight is appreciated once set up, but annoying when trying to transport it.
Wheel slippage is occasionally problematic, but manageable. I run 3 full turns from initial wheel contact at 80psi on my thickslicks in order to do sprints without too much slippage, but this is a problem with nearly all wheel-drive trainers.
It comes with a skewer and multiple "cups" to accommodate multiple types of skewers. It also integrates w/TrainerRoad, which is a huge plus to me.
All around fantastic trainer, and at $150 less than a Kurt Road Machine when on sale, an absolute bargain.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
