Comments about Canari Gran Prix Shorts:

I am neither a fussy guy nor a bike short, spandex type. However, I needed to add some comfort to my rides after using a couple "liner" shorts under my cargo shorts I decided to try these Canari shorts. I first used them as "liner" shorts under my cargo shorts - they work perfectly.
One day I stepped out of my home and onto my bike without my cover-ups, the cargo shorts. The padding works well. However, the padded portion of the shorts seem to "stick" to the seat and the rest of the short fabric seems to slip down or for lack of a better word "swim" at the hips. When trying to readjust the short the padding at the back snags or otherwise catches onto the nose of my seat.
I bought the medium I am 5'8", 165 lbs., 34" waist I think maybe the sizing runs large.
Like the padding thickness, do not like the swim effect of the fabric but that said I liked the price and probably would buy them again and use with or without the cargo shorts.

Comments about Canari Gran Prix Shorts:

Like most, I like these shorts more after I factor in the low, low price. Like my other Canari shorts, the waist runs true to size but the legs run slightly loose. Compared to my Canari Velo Gel shorts, these feel slightly thinner, they lack a drawstring and they droop a little in the rear. Yet, when I factor the purchase price I give them 4 out of 5 stars. Furthermore, I desperately wanted blue shorts and these were all I could find. Nonetheless, they have extremely effective padding, they wick sweat away efficiently, and don't chafe. So, though I was cornered, so to speak, I am happy with them.

Comments about Canari Gran Prix Shorts:

I ride for exercise 22 to 25 miles each day. The shorts are very comfortable and seem to be made from a very durable materiel. I will buy more shorts and other products from the "Canari" brand. This is the first time I have written a review for any product and I would definitely recommend these shorts to anyone.

Comments about Canari Gran Prix Shorts:

I chose these shorts to use on my daily shorter rides (less than 20 miles). I like that the padding is less than most other current shorts and the size runs a bit large. The larger size fits my 36" waist comfortably because I'm over 60 and a bit flabby. I like the navy blue color because it makes them easy to pluck from the dresser drawer. I'll have to wait and see how well they hold up.

I use these shorts for my regular cycling exercise. They was easily and dry quickly, like most. The low price was my attraction. My disappointment was that they seemed a bit larger than the advertised sizing.

While wearing these shorts for the first time on a 90 mile bike ride a small tear occurred at the rear seam. Not worth the trouble of sending them back. Very disappointed in this Canari product.

Comments about Canari Gran Prix Shorts:

I have a 34" waist and the medium fit well. Good length, but minimal compression for legs. As another reviewer noted, one leg has a duplicated logo which looks odd (not a big issue with me). My biggest complaint is that the chamois does not reach back far enough at all. When I was seated forward on my racing bike, there was absolutely no cushioning between my butt and the seat. None!! I was really disappointed because, otherwise, I would have been happy with these shorts. Even with their duplicated logo on one leg.

They are bigger than I would have liked But for price they will do for weekly rides. The other reviews did help in making size choice. The are loose on my waist and behind. My waist size is 36. I am okay with size for the price. They will be great for what I bought them for. I only wish they had a waist Draw string.
