Gain all of the benefits of the 27.5" wheel size without springing for a mountain bike that costs as much as your car. The Diamondback Axis Sport is built around a butted 6061 aluminum frame to strike a balance between light weight and durability. Add in a SR Suntour XCR-LO fork with 100mm of travel plus a lockout and this bike is ready to ride to the trails, tackle the gnarliest lines, and then keep you feeling fresh enough to ride home afterwards. Tektro's HDC-330 hydraulic disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power while the SRAM X.4 8-speed drivetrain offers more gearing options than you will ever use. The Axis Sport will take you wherever you want to go and leaving you wanting more after every ride.

Comments about Diamondback Axis Sport 27.5" Mountain Bike:
I got this for my girlfriend as her first MTB. The only drawbacks I find are the weight, and the standover on the 15" was a bit high for a 5'4" girl. 27.5", Air shock, hydraulic brakes, in a petite size, under $500? SOLD Great for a beginner, great for the price.
Was this a gift?:
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
