Comments about Giro Timbre Mountain Shoes - Nashbar Exclusive:

I really use these for spinning, so don't hate me, but i have used these twice and definitely like them way more than the shoes they give out at the spinning location. I purchased these from nashbar and received them in at most 5 days even though i didn't pay for the 5 day shipping. i really have no complaint. the shoes are great.

Comments about Giro Timbre Mountain Shoes - Nashbar Exclusive:

Great shoes! Has a better stiff/springy sole than my $200 Sidis. These would be almost perfect if the cleat could move back a 1/4 -1/2 inch more. They breath very well but are not great protecting your toes from the cold and wet.

It has been a number of years since I purchased from Nashbar, and I'm sure I wont be disappointed. They have the selection and the input from users to help guide you in your search for the best equipment for your needs. Just returning to hard core biking, and this was were I turned for equipment. Wanted an entry level shoe for summer rides and exercise, and I think I found it. Will let you know more after a couple of hundred miles....

These shoes are well-made, and a bargain. Excellent sneaker-style tread design makes them perfect for the recreational on-and-off the bike weekend warrior. They fit like regular shoes, not the ultra-stiff roadie shoes, but they're firm enough for good support on the pedals. And hey, they're good LOOKING to boot. No complaints!

Comments about Giro Timbre Mountain Shoes - Nashbar Exclusive:

I purchased a pair of these in August of 2016. They've lasted through about 500 miles of road riding and around 50 of singletrack and rock garden trails. Unfortunately, both shoes have had the tread separate from the shoe up front near the toe. Not sure how long biking shoes are supposed to last, but I wanted to get at least a year of use out of these.

Comments about Giro Timbre Mountain Shoes - Nashbar Exclusive:

This is my first cycling shoe and I love it. I wanted something I could ride around with, and walk around with, and it works great for both. I often ride with my kids, so these make stops and rests easy. A quick stop at the store or the park and I can walk around normally. Fairly cool with a lot of mesh, stiff sole, they click in and out easily, all around good. Someone had mentioned the strap breaking, but it sounded like they were using it as a power strap. It is simply to hold the laces in place.

Comments about Giro Timbre Mountain Shoes - Nashbar Exclusive:

I loved the look and fit of these shoes and the 44 fit my normally size 10 foot very well. However, I couldn't adjust the cleat far enough back in the shoe to feel stable and comfortable on the pedal. It would clamp down in the shoe but the middle rubber wouldn't let the cleat click into the shoes until I moved them farther up than I like. I ride trails that require standing up a good amount and I like my mid foot to be over the pedal on descents. These would probably be great for spinning class or something because they feel great and have a good shoe like feel. I wouldn't use them for actual mountain biking though, but that is just my experience and someone else may find them perfectly positionable. Nashbar was great as always and these came in 2 days.

Comments about Giro Timbre Mountain Shoes - Nashbar Exclusive:

I just finished a 32 mile ride using these shoes, and am really impressed. I was looking for shoes that I could walk off the bike at stops when touring, off-road, or century training. These are basically a hybrid that offer the best of both worlds (MTB and road riding). I would definitely recommend them.
