Comments about Nashbar Oxbow Winter Gloves:

I commute about 7 miles each way to/from work along the Boise greenbelt. These gloves have performed awesome down to about 32 to 34 degrees. Once you're below those temps, my fingers and fingertips got frigid. Closer to 5 or 10 degrees and you get numbness/tingling/frostbite in the fingers/tips. Most 'normal' people don't pedal below 20 degrees and, of those I do know that do pedal that cold, say there really aren't any gloves that do the job that well. Luckily Boise only gets temps that cold for a few weeks of the year, the rest of the time I'd give these gloves A+ rating. I even where them for daily (non-pedaling) use due to comfort and flexibility.

Comments about Nashbar Oxbow Winter Gloves:

I can ride on 35 degree weather and winds up to 15 miles an hour and be comfortable on a road trip. Using hand warmers may extend the comfort range. to about 30, Below 30 degrees I ride with mitts.

Comments about Nashbar Oxbow Winter Gloves:

A slim, non-bulky unpadded glove. It works well down to the mid-20's.

I normally take a Large, so I ordered a XXL so I could wear liner gloves with them. However, the fingers are very slim, so I can only use a very thin liner glove with them.

These gloves are used for those really cold morning rides on winter days. They were very warm and had my hands sweating. A bit bulky for any fine motor skills.

Comments about Nashbar Oxbow Winter Gloves:

I got these for winter MTB riding. The gauntlet is very long which is nice because it allows overlap between glove and coat/shell, but is quite long and can sometimes be problematic. The fit is marginal, I have a normal size 9/ish hand and the length and width of the gloves are good, however the finger length is very short. The thumb fit is also not the best. They work, but are nowhere near fitting well enough to be extremely maneuverable on the bike. Shifting and braking can be difficult without moving your whole hand at times. They also aren't the warmest. The "barrier" liner inside is meant to stop wind but you can feel the cold coming through while going downhill. Going uphill the insulation works well but going back down again and they start to get cold again, mainly the fingers on the brake levers. I love Nashbar brand products, this is the first time I have gotten a Nashbar product I haven't been super impressed with. They are usable, just not the best.

Comments about Nashbar Oxbow Winter Gloves:

These gloves are great - they keep my hands warm and they fit well. I find that most gloves fit small, but these gloves fit true to size. Great deal!
