Comments about Portland Design Works PDW Danger Zone USB Taillight:

I purchased this light in September, 2016. The lens broke loose from the base in January, 2017. I contacted the PDW via email and they sent a replacement within a week. Not only that, they told me to keep the old light and gave me suggestions on how to repair it.
    Awesome!
I have previously reviewed this light with 5 stars here on Bike Nashbar.

Comments about Portland Design Works PDW Danger Zone USB Taillight:

I have owned the AAA battery version of this light for years and was excited to get the USB rechargeable version. This light is very bright and the flash sequence is unusual and gets the attention of those behind you.
      Cons:
      1. Micro USB connector. I haven't seen a micro USB device in years. So now I have to keep another cable handy.
      2. The button to turn it on and off doesn't seem to work all of the time. I takes several tries to get it going or get it turned off.
      Pros:
      1. But once it's on, this light lasts for at least 5 hours on the dance flash mode.

Twice the light as their old "Radbot"

Comments about Portland Design Works PDW Danger Zone USB Taillight:

I have used a pdw radbot light since they first came out. Wanted a USB unit for one day rides. This little light is very brite, twice the old single lamp, light weight, and mounts just like their old radbot (I used the old mount and did not have to move a thing). The switch is a little bit suspect but if it fails I'll send it back and they can fix it for me.

Comments about Portland Design Works PDW Danger Zone USB Taillight:

Comes with large and small mounting brackets, but neither one is quite right for my seat stays in the absence of lots of rubber padding. Also, the charging cable is only about 10" long; longer would be easier to work with.

Comments about Portland Design Works PDW Danger Zone USB Taillight:

Had trouble getting switch about the 3rd time it seemed to be OK and disposed of packaging. On next ride could only get one bulb to light and no flashing options. Either bad switch, bad bulb or both. Poor performance especially considering the high price.
