Giro 5M Overshorts - Closeout
Because every ride deserves to be comfortable there is the Giro 5M Overshort. Its sturdy polyester/wool fabric blend is exquisitely crafted and designed for comfort in the saddle. There's no liner so these shorts can be worn on their own for casual rides plus around town off bike, or if they're paired with a liner or your favorite cycling shorts underneath you'll be good to go for the long haul. Regardless, these shorts ooze class and style, featuring a button waist and button fly, a flat waist with belt loops, plus plenty of pockets to stow ride essentials.
  • Polyester/wool blend fabric is solidly made with just enough stretch for riding comfort
  • Button waist and button fly
  • Flat waist with belt loops for a casual look
  • Two hand pockets, two button enclosure rear pockets, one zipper security pocket on leg
  • Sewn in California

    Comfy

    By turbomatic

Comments about Giro 5M Overshorts - Closeout:

The material of these shorts is super comfy and soft. Feels like you're wearing a pair of sweat shorts or PJ bottoms. Nice and stretchy so they definitely move with you. The appearance of the fabric is a little odd though--I thought it would like kind of tweed--and it does from afar--but up close it looks like polyester, kind of funky. But in a good way a guess. Anyway, they're comfy as all get out.

Comments about Giro 5M Overshorts - Closeout:

I wear these shorts daily and not only are they more comfortable than a MUG, but they've significantly reduced chafing that I've experienced with other shorts. More than flexible enough to do an ATG squat in, however I would not recommend wearing them to the gym.

Because the fabric is made from a three fiber blend, it piles pretty badly especially along the gusset and along the belt loops if you wear leather belts like I do.

In addition, the phone pocket is anything but. Even if you remove the internal stitching the zipper is not at all big enough to fit a modern phone. I have tried to fit my Galaxy S5 and my friend's iPhone 6s as well. I've taken to putting my Leatherman Wave in the pocket which is just about the perfect size and useful in case I need to do repairs.

The U-Lock pocket in the back is only large enough for a small size U-Lock not a full size u-Lock.

Overall a great product and I would definitely purchase again (This is actually my second pair)
