Comments about Giro Gradis II Mountain Shoes:

Nice shoes, stiff sole and good support. I was looking for a shoe that I can walk in and these seem to work ok for that but not great. The cleat seems to still scrape against the pavement when walking. So I sacrificed some walking comfort for better pedaling and I'm fine with that. Overall, great shoes

Comments about Giro Gradis II Mountain Shoes:

Ordered size 45 as I have worn this in other shoes. Fit fine, not issues there. I am still breaking them in but I have noticed some discomfort on long rides. Nothing major, but noticeable. I hope this will improve as I break them in.

Comments about Giro Gradis II Mountain Shoes:

First up I take size 50 which is a good size for me as I wear 50 in shimano and specialized and Nikes in us15. What I will say is they definitely feel different to shimano and specialized which both seem to rotate your foot outward for what specialized call 'body geometry' where's these are more a flat foot feeling. It was an interesting feeling to get used to but I don't find it detrimental to my knees at the moment - just something to note if you do have sensitive knees. My only issue with these shoes - which I have with all shoes - is occasional rub against the chainstays due to the size 50 length. My shimano a have a rubber heel which has tolerated this for 5000kms without breaking through, these only time will tell but without the rubber style heel I fear they might not be as durable. Used for road riding on a cx bike FYI.
