Vuelta Corsa Lite 700c 11-Speed Wheelset
Looking for a solid upgrade? The Vuelta Corsa Lite 700c 11-speed wheelset is an exceptionally versatile, all-around performer. Weighing in at just 1570 grams for the pair, these alloy road wheels feature a 27mm deep rim so they're nice and light but still provide an all-important aerodynamic advantage. Well, I got about 12 months and 2200 miles out of these before the rear wheel broke several spokes, the hub bearings wore out, and the hub splines essentially melted. they're fine for occasional use, but you probably want to look elsewhere for daily hard commuting or serious training miles. only 165lb. rider / retired Cat 3. Have had to return these. they're fine for about a year...maybe.

I own an aluminum, a carbon, and a titanium road bike. I have swapped out the wheel sets on all three, which were all purchased as completely built up bikes. The other two bikes have $400 -$600 sets on them. One set is prolite braccianos, which have been serving me well for 5 years. Another is fitted with a Shimano RS-81set. Also OK. I find the recently purchased Vueltas to offer me the same upgraded ride as the other wheels. Very pleased!

Just unpacked my wheels and they look great and lightweight. I'm disappointed that graphics are actually not painted, they are actually a sticker. Im concerned that the sticker will not holdup to the weather and muiltiple tube changes. It would have been nice if they would mention under the description that the graphics are actually a stickers and not painted. In fairnest to the wheel manufacture I will be back and update my review after a few months of use.

Superb value. Quality build, light enough but still strong. Small but noticeable aero advantage over box section wheels. More racy than durable... but perfectly fine for a fast commuter if major potholes aren't a problem. Great hubs too. Overall The best at this pricepoint for someone under 190 on varied terrain and smooth roads.

Got these based on recommendation of fellow cyclists. They are light! I had some Oval 327's that weighted a little under 2000g, being under 1600 g these were a nice upgrade. Couple with some lightweight tubs and Michelin Pro 4's they are awesome. There is an audible clicking when free wheeling, which I prefer especially when riding on a trail with many joggers/walkers letting them know I'm coming up. FYI these run thinner like 18mm wide vs an Ultegra (20mm). May not be your cup of tea...

These are my second set of Corsa lites. I've researched and road other brands in the same class and I believe that the Vuelta Corsa lites are a great value. I'm right at 200 lbs and I admit that I was worried at first if this wheel set would hold up to my weight and have not had one problem so I got another set for my other bike and those too have not let me down as of yet. I would buy again.

These wheels are very light compared to my Mavic's. Very simple to install. I am surprised the wheels were perfectly true out of the box considering the box has no packing material inside to absorb rough shipping. Feel like I got lucky on the shipping. Also got lucky and got them on sale. They are definitely worth full price even without a sale.
