If you wanted to make an entry into the wonderful world of mountain biking, the 2016 edition of the Breezer Storm 29 Comp is a value-packed marvel that will serve you well out on the trails. The frame is constructed of hydroformed 6061 aluminum, a technology that allows frame builders to strengthen tubing at high pressure points, and thin out the tubing in less critical areas in order to shave weight. The result is a hardtail frame that's light, durable, and able to handle even the most rigorous trail riding. The suspension fork provides 100mm of travel and is designed to absorb obstacles such as ruts, roots, and rocks not only to improve ride comfort and quality, but to give greater control at higher speeds on uneven terrain.
A full menu of Shimano components ensures easy, responsive shifting even under tremendous pressures of acceleration or climbing. With a 3x9-speed drivetrain, you'll find taking steep ascents, accelerating up to speed, or achieving high top speeds are all possible with the wide range of gearing options. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes are superb at slowing you down in even the sloppiest of conditions out in the woods. With light, strong aluminum bars and stem by Oval Concepts and 29" alloy doublewall rims, the promise delivered is nothing weighing you down while the full complement of components provide all the durability you need for years of use.

Comments about Breezer Storm 29 Comp Mountain Bike:
Bought this to replace my 1995 Trek Mountain bike. The upgrade to a 29er has been well worth it. This bike is fast and stops on a dime with the hydraulic disc brakes. So far has proven to be durable as I have been off drops in excess of the recommended 24 inches. Given that i weigh in excess of 250 pounds it has held up well to the pounding I have put on the bike so far in its first 30 miles o f single track off road riding. Would definitely recommend the Breezer brand.
Was this a gift?:
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
