If you gave your bike a name other than the one printed on the down tube, you've probably been accused of being a cycling fanatic once or twice. You also need some gear that works just as hard as you do on those grueling training rides, and you definitely need a short that shows up for race day with its game face on. The Briko Women's Katana Short does exactly that. Whether you're spinning along your favorite tree-lined scenic route, or cranking up some monster hills, this short wicks moisture, prevents chafing and keeps you comfy in the saddle so you can focus on the ride ahead. Propylene construction keeps you dry and fights odor. Challenge Evo chamois has high-density foam and differentiated thickness to ventilate and give you just the right amount of cushion. Flat seams reduce irritation. 3M refracting inserts for added visibility.
The padding is stiff and does not contour. The shorts have a crease sewn through the center of the padding in the crotch-causing the hard stiff padding edges to point upwards between your legs. Yikes! Obviously, no women were involved in the designing or testing of these shorts. They are awful.
