I ride quite a bit. I commute to work as well as recreational cross country riding. My old Shimanos were just plain tired. I liked the look of the Louis Garneaus so I gave them a shot. I hate ordering shoes online, but they fit perfectly. I ordered the same size that my Shimanos were. Other than a little bulging out near the arch of my foot, they are perfect. I love the ratcheting adjustment. I would buy these again... unless they fall apart within the next couple months. But so far, so good.

This is only my second pair of cycling shoes, the first being inexpensive Shimano shoes. I'm a roadie but use SPD's because they're supposedly easier than LOOK style pedals to clip in/out (from what I've heard, never used them myself). I use this mountain shoe because the road shoes I had previously were difficult to walk in, and I even twisted my ankle going down some stairs in them. This was due to the SPD "pontoons" being rather narrow.
With these shoes, all my concerns and worries have disappeared. Instead of using SPD's included pontoons, this shoe has a sole with lugs that allow walking perfectly stable. I find them comfortable also. I even have a bunion on my left foot due to a broken bone that healed wrong, and this shoe causes absolutely NO pain due to the design. I can't say that for all shoes. They're a bit pricey but I'm so glad I got them. They look snazzy too without being too ugly or ostentatious.

LG makes a great shoe. Very comfortable to walk in. Easy to mount cleats. I was surprised that this MTB shoe ran a little big, because my LG road shoes are not nearly as room, but they still adjust to a proper fit. my only gripe is that there were no instructions on how the ratchet strap disengages, so it took me a few minuets to figure it out. They do include a set of toe cleats and an extra set of ratchet straps.
