Comments about Nashbar Integrated Bottom Bracket Cup Bit:

Use this tool to install/remove external BB cups, such as Mega-Exo, Hollowtech II, etc. Grips the cups much better than the large flat wrench, which tends to slip and mars the 16 notches on the cup circumference. This tool can be used with a 3/8 in. torque-wrench.
Simply a great tool, making the task easy!

Comments about Nashbar Integrated Bottom Bracket Cup Bit:

Bought this several months ago but never had a chance to try, till now. I have purchase three Shimano Hollowtech cranksets in the last 2 weeks. Two FC-6601G and one compact R700. Came to realized the "Torx" end of this tool, that is used to preload the bearings cap, does not fit, at all! I understand the Dura Ace models also use the same cap. I am really angry. I have bought at least three Nashbar/Taiwanese made tools that will not work. 1. a 8 notches BB tool for the FC-7700 series that is not big enough to use on the fixed cup. 2. A splined tool for cartridge BB that has a clearance issue with an ISIS BB and now this. I will have to buy the orginal Shimano plastic TL-FC16 at my LBS. Two sets of tools for each job because one does not work is not right.

Sturdy steel tool that has two uses:

Installing and removing the BB cups

            Pre loading the bearing

Since it is a sturdy steel tool it should last a lifetime.

Comments about Nashbar Integrated Bottom Bracket Cup Bit:

I bought this tool to remove a 7800 Dura Ace bottom bracket. The bearings seemed to be fused to the BB and I was unable to break them free even with a 1/2" drive 14" breaker bar. Ultimately added a 30" cheater to the breaker bar and the bearings finally broke free. The BB tool fit like a glove and worked flawlessly. The one concern I had was that the allen extension fits into what appears to be a torx recepticle in the BB tool. Feared it would round out under max. torque. The worry was unfounded.

This is a professional quality 2-in-one tool (cap and bb remover) at a fraction of the cost for the two Park tools otherwise required. Total thumbs up on this one!

Exactly what I needed! I was looking to buy the Park Tool BBT-9, but I wanted it to fit on a torque wrench, so then I looked at the BBT-19. I have a Shimano Hollowtech II, so I need the little adapter to get off the cap on my non-drive crank arm. This tool fulfilled my dreams. The drive can adapt to either side, so both tools can be used with a 3/8 socket or torque wrench! Thank you nashbar!
