Great little pump

Comments about Nashbar CO2 Mini Pump:

Love this little pump. It can fit in a jersey pocket or attach to your water bottle cage. It fits snugly to the water bottle clip but can spin. However, I haven't had any problems with it rattling or coming loose after a year of use.

The best part is the CO2 inflator - you can control the CO2 and one cartridge will generally get you up and running with maybe a few more pumps (road bike). The only knock is that the inflator only takes 12g CO2 cartridges and most bicycle inflators use 16g. But 12g are easy enough to find through paintball stores/suppliers. Also, threaded or unthreaded cartridges will work. In a pinch you probably could use a 16g threaded cartridge with just the inflator head but that might be a little tricky (and cold!)

Comments about Nashbar CO2 Mini Pump:

This pump works as described. I haven't used the CO2 function yet. The pump mechanism works with ease. It fits conveniently on the water bottle cage. It won't fit in a saddle bag unless if its extra large. I would recommend using an extra strap to keep it from falling off. I used a Velcro strap and that seems to do the trick. The pump is made of mostly light weight plastic but feels sturdy in the hands. I would recommend this item to anyone.

Comments about Nashbar CO2 Mini Pump:

Finishing up a 40-mile ride yesterday when I spotted a distressed rider with a flat tube in his hand. He used part of his CO2 cartridge, but could not find the hole. My first chance to use my CO2 Mini pump. In a flash the hand pump helped us find the small puncture which was on the spoke side of the tube(strange). We got it patched up and used the remainder of his CO2 to start, then used my CO2 in the mini pump to get it to a high pressure feel. The red button trigger on the mini pump was perfect for fine tuning the pressure. The rider told his wife he was ordering one of these when he gets home. I prefer not to fasten the pump clamp to my frame, so I carry it in my triangular frame bag along with my phone, first aid kit and granola bar. No rattles, no drops, no scratches!

Comments about Nashbar CO2 Mini Pump:

This pump saved my bacon on the 2014 Bike Across Kansas! It was the first time I needed to use it and it put enough gas in my tire to get me through the last 50 miles or so of the ride.

I have not attempted to use it without the CO2 cartridge, so I have no idea how it will perform while trying to put 100 to 110 PSI in a tire. I carry a spare cartridge with the hope of never needing to find out.

Oh, I accidently ordered two which turned out to be a good thing. I lost one by Gusto's in Lee's Summit, MO.

not as small as I expected but still a nice little pump.Definately would have to be mounted on your bike unless you've got a pretty big wedge bag.

GREAT IDEA, BUT THE PUMP HEAD ROTATES TOO EASILY. WHEN USED WITH THE FRAME HOLDER, THE PUMP HEAD HITS THE FRAME. COULD CAUSE PAINT DAMAGE.

Comments about Nashbar CO2 Mini Pump:

I can never get these tiny things to pump a tire all the way but for starting an inflation or for emergency backup it is nice to have the 2 inflation types in one little package. Effective enough, but great for the price.
