Comments about AGU CT080 Mountain Touring Shoes:

I recently got more into cycling and was looking for some cycling shoes that I could also use when to biking, I dont like carrying too much stuff so an extra pair of walkingshoes was out of the question. These shoes were the answer to my problem. They fit really well and really like the way they look. They are an awesome deal that I think no one should pass on if looking for affordable, versatile shoes. The only downside is that they did not include a waterproof patch for the cleat area. Buy them! You wont regret it!

Comments about AGU CT080 Mountain Touring Shoes:

I don't wear cleated shoes as I use the old toe clips. These shoes were perfect and very comfortable with toe clips. Also, since I bike to work sites and run errands, they are comfortable to walk in. Best buy for shoes.

Comments about AGU CT080 Mountain Touring Shoes:

I ride with Crank Brothers Smarty cleats. The cutouts in the shoes for cleats are very deep and you need shims under the cleats to get them to engage. The shims need to be about 1/16th of an inch thick for the cleats to work.

        So Far, So Good

Comments about AGU CT080 Mountain Touring Shoes:

Overall, I like these--they are much better than the Shimano lace-ups that I had been using. A bit heavy, but the straps are secure and I get good leverage. These don't come with cleats and are a bit of a pain to set up. I used a razor knife, a flat head screwdriver, and some pliers to cut and then pull off the rubber cover--it took me about a half hour. I also put in my own padded insole--the stock one is pretty lame. The cleat is nicely recessed so walking is a breeze. These have a definite bike cop look, but they work well and were a good deal on sale.
