Good looking, and seems to be well-built. Only slight miss is that it has a slightly shorter platform than others.

      Comments about Nashbar LDT Rack:

Versatile mounting options mean you can probably put this puppy on just about anything that at least has the threaded holes on the dropouts.

My only complaint is over the tab where the lower hook of my panniers connects. I wish it was open at the bottom, as it sometimes takes a bit of fiddling to dis-engage when removing my panniers.

Bottom line ... it's a solid rack. No vibrations and it holds my pannier securely ... even bumping along broken pavement or down curbs.

          Comments about Nashbar LDT Rack:

This rack does what is about what I expected for the money. Not the easiest rack to mount and adjust for bike. Not designed for heavy loads or serious touring but suitable for day trekking and light touring. Also not the steadiest rack. I strengthened it with zip cables to help it hold load without the rack shifting around.

            Comments about Nashbar LDT Rack:

I purchased this rack following on-line chat guidance from Nashbar support. My girlfriend needed a rack that would fit and look nice on a 46 cm frame. This widely adjustable rack could be made to fit her small bike perfectly. Important to her, it also looks very nice with the Delta Top Trunk bag we purchased in conjunction with it.

            Comments about Nashbar LDT Rack:

Who doesn't like a nice rack? This rack is very adjustable. I had to spread the lower legs apart to mate with the eyelets in my frame but the adjustable length lower legs and pivoting seat stay attachments made it easy to adjust to the right height and angle. Perfect fit. Trek 800

These is a very adjustable and well made rear rack, and a very good value (at current pricing). It is, however, somewhat finicky to mount. But I've been running one for over a year now with no problems.

            Comments about Nashbar LDT Rack:

The assembly intructions were a little hard to read. The rack itself could be supported by a single stainless steel strap attached to the center of the rack and connected behind the rear brake on the brake bridge, or with 2 straps connected to the sear stays. Putting those rails on was a trick to do, and then the provided loops were to big in diameter for my seatstays. not recommended for an early 80's road bike.

              Comments about Nashbar LDT Rack:

The instructions were not great, but it was nevertheless easy to install.
It is a strong rack that does a good job holding my panniers.
One note of caution: Do not overtighten the screws, lest they strip out the item they are screwed into.
