      Comments about Nashbar Crochet Glove:

I've been using these gloves for 25 years. I buy two or three pair at a time, and use them every time I ride.
They look good. Last as long as any gloves. And are a best value in my opinion. I'm not paying 40-$50 for a pr of gloves.

Great padding in the palm. Since it is a crochet back it is only good for warm weather. I like the glove.

      Comments about Nashbar Crochet Glove:

Casual riding 30-40 k. Run a little large. I ordered according to chart. Got large...should have bought Med. Finger cut is just a bit long, but padding is great for now. Will see over time, but for price paid.....can't beat it.

              Comments about Nashbar Crochet Glove:

Back in the 1960/70's when I was racing it seemed that all the cycling gloves had crocheted backs. Perhaps its the retro in me that makes me like them. They are comfortable and well padded. I have large hands and have always bought XL gloves but I find the Large give me the best fit in this glove. Huge bang for the buck.

              Comments about Nashbar Crochet Glove:

The crochet design keeps a lot of the wind off my hands. The other advantage is that they are flexible. The crochet stretches until it is molded to the shape of my hand. This makes for the best custom fit of any bike gloves I've ever worn.

                Comments about Nashbar Crochet Glove:

Somewhere in my own garage, I lost the pair of these I bought a few years ago. None of the local bike shops carried anything similar, all of their offerings were synthetics and gels, etc.

I've tried those, and they get too sweaty and sticky. In contrast, these work perfectly. And, the price is beyond compare.

                  Comments about Nashbar Crochet Glove:

These gloves are great. They're far more padded than most "modern" gloves, and are made of real leather, so they're very durable. Most synthetic gloves only last a thousand miles for me, these last over three thousand miles. I use my gloved hand to clean my tires, so eventually the left palm wears through. At the end of the gloves' life span, the seams come apart (the leather pulls away from the crochetting).

                      Comments about Nashbar Crochet Glove:

I am an on-and-off touring rider. When I have a tour planned, I spend months training for it. When I don't, I am not as committed to the bike. These gloves tend to last me about three years depending on the amount of riding I get into each season. They wash well but are stiff after coming out of the dryer. After a good number of wash/dry cycles, they will start to crack/tear on the palm, which is when it is time for a new set. Probably best to only wash them and hang dry.
