Great product however pump would benefit from a little longer flex hose. Easy to use and the release valve is nice and effective. Appears well made.

I wish it had an adapter. It's kind of a one trick pony. If it had the adapter you could service tires with it.

Great pump - works fantastic. Using it to pump up and adjust the pressure on a Cane Creek mountain bike shock. Pressure is easy to read and can be easily adjusted by pushing the bleed button. Seems well built. Only challenge is it's a little long to throw in a pack.

          Comments about Nashbar Suspension Pump:

My rear shock (Manitou, of course) has a very slow leak in the seal- If you have a Manitou Swinger or any other Manitou that's more than 2 years old (sarcasm....kinda), you know how hard it is to get seal kits for them. I was contemplating getting a replacement shock, but after analyzing all the options (money, of course, entering the mix :) ), I decided to get the Nashbar suspension pump after seeing all the great reviews here as well as the reasonable price point. Anyway, the pump didn't fix the seal problem, but it allows me to air up the shock enough to last for a couple of weeks at a time until I feel I need to add a little more pressure. This should get me through this coming spring, summer and fall until I ,for sure, purchase another shock next season.

As for the pump- This thing is freakin' awesome- It's just as good, if not better, than all of the other reviews have said it is. If you're looking for a great pump for a great price look no further. I haven't taken it with me on any rides yet, but I don't see a big problem throwing it in my backpack on a trail run (It looks to be built strong enough to take some mild abuse). Can't say enough good things about it, so you get the idea......

          Thanks Nashbar!!!

              Comments about Nashbar Suspension Pump:

As a high psi shock pump, it works perfectly. But be mindful of where the air nipple on your frame shock is located (dual suspensions). On mine, the nipple was in the middle of the shock, so that it pointed straight towards the front of the bike. The short hose of this pump meant that it was always awkward to connect it to the shock, because it has to connect at an angle to clear the frame. For these frames, those pumps that have a longer swiveling hose are easier to use. I gave this one to a friend whose frame shock has a nipple pointing to the side, and it was much easier to use on that.

Also, the pumps that have a swiveling hose can fold down against itself, and is easier to stow in a pack. This one's stiff, short hose means it needs taller spaces to fit into.

But as a pump, it functions perfectly and reliably. The button below the gauge also allows you to relieve air out of the shock for precise psi.

                  Comments about Nashbar Suspension Pump:

Just got a new 29er with an Reba RL fork and wanted to be able to dial in the suspension perfect. This pump is easy to use, read, and dial in down to 2 psi. I already dropped in on a concrete floor and it still works great. 300 psi is a must for a suspension pump and this one has it.

My only complaint is that it is long enough to not be easy to pack along on a long ride unless you had a large backpack. No easy way to frame mount this pump, but I've never seen a suspension pump with this (only smaller ones).

For the price, it's a steal and works great. Don't burn twice as much and get something that is no better.
