    Comments about Slime Smart Tube:

I hate flats, so I can't live without these things. Sure they're a little heavy, but I happily take the weight in exchange for constantly changing tubes in the hills. Last one I had DID meet it's match.... a 4 inch long, 1/8 inch diameter nail that went through in 2 places. But I've been using them for years and all but the most severe punctures have been healed.

Will not fit either of my floor pumps

    Comments about Slime Smart Tube:

Two of the three pumps I have will not pump these tubes up. I have bought slime tubes in the past and never had any issue so these may be defective but I needed tubes so I didn't send them back. Presta valve threads are too short so presta adapters will not fit properly. I had to use a hand pump that doesn't require an adapter. Still holding air and no flats after 2 rides.

    Comments about Slime Smart Tube:

No, it's not an ultra-light tube. But it has saved me from almost innumerable flats riding the rock and thorn invested roads/trails in AZ.

I gave up on tubeless after the first round with leaky beads and dried up Stan's. I know tubeless is much lighter, but for myself, I've found Slime tubes to be far more reliable.

      Comments about Slime Smart Tube:

These tubes are great. I haven't had a flat in years. I combine these tubes with the Slime tire liners for extreme durability and reliability. These tubes hold air pressure for days and days, if not weeks so you'll ending up pumping up your tires a LOT less. Overall, I love these tubes. I'm about to order some more for our other bikes. For a set of bomb-proof training wheels, get Slime tubes(and Slime tire liners for extra durability).

      Comments about Slime Smart Tube:

Was out on 45 mile ride, 18 miles from home. Tire blew, but did not go flat. It self sealed as advertised. I was able to add air and ride the rest of way home. The next day the tire still had air. They are hard to patch on road because of slime, but carry a spare it is easier and quicker when on road anyways.

        Comments about Slime Smart Tube:

These tubes seem to work great, haven't had any issues with it.

I ordered a few with the hopes of keeping one in my saddle bag as a spare for the road, but that idea went out the window the second I opened the box.

The tube was pretty much bunched up and shoved into the fairly big box without any regard for it's well being. Suffice to say, since there was no intention by Slime to package these nicely, they didn't transfer to my saddle bag. I ended up having to buy a normal tube to keep as a spare.

        Comments about Slime Smart Tube:

There are cactus spines everywhere in Phx. When a tire has finally gone flat on me, I've had as many as 10-12 small spines sticking thru tire & no flat. They might be a little heavy but it beats having constant flats!

          Comments about Slime Smart Tube:

For use on a road bike that uses pressures above 65 psi Slime tubes are completely useless even with tiny punctures; on MTB's their great because you rarely exceed that kind of pressure. The Slime will seal the leak until you start pumping over about 65psi then it all just blows out and your flat; and when Slime tubes leak they blow green goo all over the inside of your rim and tire and staining your rim strip. Then add on top of that very poor quality Presta valves, and you can't patch them as long as the goo keeps the area of the hole wet you find yourself in a load of trouble, time to use the backup tube. Also the goo makes the tube heavier then a comparable non-goo tube.
