warm & blocks wind

Comments about Nashbar Midweight Waterproof Gloves:

A little bulky, but expected since it is very warm & blocks wind well. Haven't check for degree of waterproofness. Fit is true but the thumb seems too long for its size. you get wet hands because moisture does not excape, probably because the windblock fabric works too well.

Comments about Nashbar Midweight Waterproof Gloves:

These gloves are seriously amazingly comfortable and warm. I'm from Indiana and can go out with these gloves in 20 degree weather, and my hands still sweat. The only negative I have is that they work too well and my hands will sweat and the gloves get a serious odor about them. I suggest wearing a knit glove or something under these to soak up all of the sweat, if you tend to have sweaty hands like me!

Comments about Nashbar Midweight Waterproof Gloves:

These were a steal for the price. I wear these for commuting to work in the winter. I've worn them down to 15 degrees with no problems. I will, however, warn you that if you wear them at 40 degrees and above, your hands will get warm and sweaty and these gloves will hold moisture. Otherwise, they're perfect for commuting to work on cold winter mornings.

Comments about Nashbar Midweight Waterproof Gloves:

I usually wear large, got large at first, way too small had to return for x-large, which still fits just a tad tight. DEFINITELY order a size up at least.
I have cold hands with poor circulation. These gloves keep me warm above about 36 ish F or 38 ish F. However, if I heat up at all on my ride, gloves keep all sweat in, then become damp. Stay warm while riding, but if I stop my hands become cold. As a result, really can't wear much above 44 ish F.
otherwise, construction is good, not too bulky. would only recommend if you don't heat up at all during your ride...

Comments about Nashbar Midweight Waterproof Gloves:

Worked well in 30 degree weather, hands were sweeting they were so warm. They are a little bulky and makes shift a little challenging on a road bike. Other than making a few adjustments for shifting, they work well.

Comments about Nashbar Midweight Waterproof Gloves:

I had these glove since october. I think i oreded a size too small. So im gonna try out the x large size soon so i can not comment on sizing just yet. the large just seem a little too small i have been using them any ways to test them out. so far this is what i can say if you riding in 40 degrees weather dont wear these you sweet you hands off.i find these way to hot for october glove weather here in Illionois the only day my hands did not sweeet so crazy was went it droped to 35 degrees in the morning. then the gloves did work there magic i have a 12 mille ride one way and my hands were a little cold for about the first 5 minutes of my ride. By the time i was done riding my hands were just about too start sweeting after my 12 miles. I went to the bike store to find them and i could not but they had some gloves close to it so i tried them on and those large fit just like these large i used. i tried the extra large glove size and they fit good so im gonna order these gloves in an extra large size. I tried the sizing chart and i knew the large was gonna be a close call will it was too close and inbtween my fingers it just to tight and cut my blood flow and then the tingling start but i think that cause it just a tab too small i dont see nothing wrong with these yet after a months use for 5 day a week at 144 miles a week. i did not get these in the rain just yet so i can not comment on that part but im waiting for a heavy storm.

Great for commuting when the temp drops into the 40"s or lower. Sizing was perfect. Able to do simple tasks if necessary. My impression is these should last awhile, bargain for the price.
