Comments about Vittoria Rubino Pro Road Tire:

I think the Vittoria Rubino Pro is that nice choice between less expensive tires that are inferior and more expensive tires that are either not as good or just a litter better. Let get this one done, the Michelin Pro4 is inferior to this tire, no doubt about it IMO. The Continental Grand Prix 4000S is a step up. The Rubino Pro rides well on 150 TPI, has very low rolling resistance, and resists flats and cuts very well. The weight of the 23 is in the high 220 gram area, not bad and they wear above average. Another advantage is that they are super easy to mount and remove from the rim. The softer rubber and tread on the shoulders also make for a great cornering tire so very confidence boosting as well. The Zaffiro Pro is the step below and is a very decent tire too if you just can't spend the extra on the Rubino Pro's but the Rubino's are worth it. Oh, I love the Vittoria DIamante Pro's too but questionable on how much more they are worth to step up slightly.

Comments about Vittoria Rubino Pro Road Tire:

I'm on my second set of these tires and while I do enjoy how they feel and ride. I'm not happy with the durability of the tire.

I'm a heavier rider at 200lbs and I inflate the tires to 140PSI. I use these tires for training and I find after about 1000KM's of riding the rear tire wears quickly and becomes very acceptable to punctures from your everyday road debris. Rotating the wore rear to the front only makes the front acceptable to punctures with my history with these tires.

I'm disappointed with the Vittoria Rubino Pro tires. They start out great, but finish poorly and have switched over to a set of Michelin Lithion.2 tires. Time will tell if the Michelin's will be any better.

Comments about Vittoria Rubino Pro Road Tire:

Good feel for rode and just the right amount of gripyness for fast cornering. I've ridden these for @ 3000 miles and am replacing due to user error (unfortunate flat spot due to locked up breaks..... yes I was going to fast and had to avoid a meandering casual rider. Mea Culpa). One flat from sharp rock that embedded neatly. I intentionally used these on the trainer after deciding to replace just to see the wear. Some noticeable wear after only 10 hours on trainer.

Comments about Vittoria Rubino Pro Road Tire:

These tires came stock on a new bike I bought first of the year. I have over 2000 miles in mixed hilly and city riding with only one flat and that was a piece of wire from a steel belt. It barely made it through and I didn't notice it until just before the next ride, so I did not have to replace my tube out on the road. The rolling resistance is low and the weight to durability ratio is acceptable. I will definitely purchase new ones, but I don't know when because these are doing so well!!

Comments about Vittoria Rubino Pro Road Tire:

purchased a set of these and put about 800 miles on them before I got a weird looking slice running up and down about 3 inches long(no flat but who wants to chance it). not sure if I hit something or a fault in the tire. From the other reviews these last well so I am going to purchase another one and see if it holds up then re review. Ride is somewhat slower than the chili compount conti but they have not been holding up as well recently I have only been getting around 1200 miles from the rear and 1500 miles form the front at 125 PSI. Note, the rubinos ride much smoother at 130 PSI than at 125 for some strange reason for a heavier rider.

Same tires for 18 months, 3,000 plus road miles, 80 hours plus on indoor trainer, road Oklahoma Freewheel & Hotter Than Hell rides, and not one flat using these tires! What else can one say! The best bang for the buck you will ever find. This is my third set. 190 Lbs total weight on tires inflated 110 PSI each.

Great Tire, so far 6,000 miles not one flat. It's an every day tire, Century rides awesome no Flats. It's all I buy, my third set. I bought another set and it's been sitting in my garage closet for five months, that's how good these tires hold up!

I have one bike that I use for long distance rides, charity rides, commuting, and just running to the coffee shop. I installed these tires about three weeks ago and couldn't be happier. They are fast, corner great at high speed (18+mph), and in lime green, accent the trim on my bike perfectly. As of now, these are going to be my tires of choice.

I have ridden 1300 miles so far on these tires with no flats. I am a 190lb rider who bikes approximately 100 miles a week from April to September. Roll smooth and handle well in wet weather. I sustained a small gash in the rear tire that didn't penetrate through and have ridden 200 miles since noticing it with no issues. I have since put a little shoe goo in it and seems to work well. Love these tires and the red stripe that matches my bike.

Comments about Vittoria Rubino Pro Road Tire:

I'm 175 lbs and inflate tires to 115 psi. I train on a mix of bike path and rolling roads. I've had no flats after 1200 miles. The tires have good grip and lower rolling resistance. One thing I've noticed is these tires (700c x 23) run as wide as others' 700c x 25. I would recommend these tires on the rear wheel for racing, and a narrower tire on the front wheel.
