Comments about Shimano PD-M530 Trail Mountain Pedals:

This is my first use of clip pedals. I was looking for ease of use, which these seem to be. Reasonably easy to clip in and out. Have loved them so far, although they are a little heavy. They have made a great difference in reducing fatigue.

Comments about Shimano PD-M530 Trail Mountain Pedals:

The larger platform makes it easier to get going and pedal until clicked in. Less pressure over all on the under front foot area. I have an injury to one foot from an industrial accident 30 years ago that make these larger pedals necessary.

Comments about Shimano PD-M530 Trail Mountain Pedals:

I have a new Salsa Fargo and needed pedals.
Friend told me about these on Nashbar. These are a great value for the price. Perfect for what I needed and even though I haven't ridden much with them so far so good.
Shoes clip in with no adjustments necessary. They are a little tighter than I was use too with mostly getting clipped in initially. So it's slightly a little more effort but I could probably adjust that.
I am pleased because I feel like I am clipped in slightly better too and what I meant by a tighter feel.
I have not had a lot of experience with buying pedals and never owned any that are really expensive but I don't see how they could be better other than weight possibly. These are good for everyday riding, trails etc.

No-nonsense great pedals. Easy to clip into and out of. The white pedals look great on a bike. The sleek design keeps them out of the way. I use them for both trail riding. and touring. Great value for the money.

Comments about Shimano PD-M530 Trail Mountain Pedals:

I like the fact that it has dual clips. I ride a giant fast road on bike paths here in Arizona. I can stop at lights or stop at streets and get clipped on again quickly. It's a little heavy as far as the construction but very solid.

Comments about Shimano PD-M530 Trail Mountain Pedals:

The pedals look well built and not that heavy just imho. However, I found them a little difficult to release even at the lowest tightness. That is why I put tricky. I felt like lost my confidence on the
trails. It could be me or it could be that they were too new. Not sure, overall I believe the value was great.
