Nashbar 360 Work Stand
Attention home bike mechanics: working on your bike is a whole lot easier with two hands free. The Nashbar 360 Work Stand comes with all the features you need to make working on your whip a breeze. First of all, there's an incredible amount of adjustment - height-wise as well as the rotation of your bike in the clamp - so it's easy peasy to focus on any part your prized bike that needs attention at a comfortable working height. And with the amount of adjustment in the clamp itself there'll be no problem to throw any bike you own on the stand - whether you're clamping on to the seatpost or part of the frame. Once the repairs are complete it folds down for easy storage and this work stand is built to last, too, so you've got peace of mind that you're making a sound investment for the future. So what are you waiting for? You won't believe how much easier it is to do routine servicing like cleaning the chain, adjusting the derailleurs, washing the bike, or installing new parts when you're not doing all kinds of gymnastics or contortions to access hard to reach spots or worrying about your bike tipping over mid-repair sans stand.

Comments about Nashbar 360 Work Stand:

I was so happy to finally have a work stand, and this one was fine until I repositioned the clamp to work on a different bike. The heavier bike must have been too much for the flimsy bolt that attaches the clamp to the vertical post. It's an odd design that seems fragile and fiddly, with the 1/4" bolt I mentioned running parallel with the post, and just waiting to bend with the weight of a bike suspended at right angles to it. At least now I know what to look for when I get my next stand.

Comments about Nashbar 360 Work Stand:

This bike stand is great. I've ridden competitively and for personal enjoyment for about 40 years now on two Continents and have always done my bike maintenance myself. I've never purchased a bike stand though because I never thought I needed one - boy was I wrong. My wife says I always do things the hard way and apparently she has been right, up until now. This is a great bike stand, especially at the price I got it for. I read every review I could find on every bike stand available within my price range and this was the only one that NOBODY had anything bad to say about. Everybody else was right - it is a great stand at a great price. Sturdy, easy assembly, great adjustability, takes up very little space and makes working on my bikes (mountain and road) a breeze. I have to keep asking myself - Why didn't I do this years ago? Apparently, the answer is because I couldn't have gotten this bike stand at such a great buy forty years ago.

Comments about Nashbar 360 Work Stand:

On sale this a deal. Very sturdy. Bike clamp works well for road or mountain. Bottom clamp for stand legs needs to be tight or will slide down. But after one try this was not an issue. Stand works well for luging chain, doing maintenance, washing, etc. Folds for storage. For the price can't be beat.

        Needs A Little Re-Engineering

Comments about Nashbar 360 Work Stand:

This is my first bike stand, bought it for my mountain bike. Like the adjustability and versatility. The one "knock" I have is the bike clamp. I might have been using it incorrectly, but after 3 or 4 uses the roller pin for the clamp handle broke. After some re-engineering (a heavier roller pin and a large washer under the clamp handle) seems to work fine. Otherwise no complaints.

Comments about Nashbar 360 Work Stand:

I live in an apartment so this work stand is perfect for my needs. I set it up and work on my bike while watching TV. When done it folds up and gets put under the bed, out of the way. I looked at stands from other on line stores, but nothing looked as good as this for the money spent.
          Very happy with this purchase.

Comments about Nashbar 360 Work Stand:

Everything looks durable except the material used to connect the head clamp to the main tube/base is plastic. Just imagiine the weight of the bike to be just placed on that weak part. Metal or some alloy should have been used.

There are no regrets at all. I'm so happy with this stand. It is heavy enough to hold your bike steady and allow you to do all kind of maintenance work. When it's folded doesn't take too much space in my garage.
