Cannondale Booties
You've managed to shroud the rest of your body in high tech protective fabrics, but it looks like you forgot about your toes. After all, no winter ninja outfit is complete without a good pair of cycling booties, and what better than the Cannondale Booties? They're a pair of wind and water proof Arctic Barrier fabric to keep those little piggy's nice and cozy inside your cycling shoes.

Note: If intended use is for touring or mountain biking shoes, consider sizing up as these booties are designed for road shoes and may be too snug over bulkier shoes.

  • Arctic Barrier fabric is wind- and waterproof to help protect your toes from the cold
  • Cut outs for cleat and heel pad
  • Made for road shoes...but will probably work with mountain shoes too
  • Hook and loop rear fastener makes it easy to get these booties on
  • Reflective accents for added safety

Comments about Cannondale Booties:

I bought these on sale and went up one size. They were still too small and didn't make it through the first ride. Seams separated and there was no way to get them on over my shoes without tearing.

    Sizing runs small

    Comments about Cannondale Booties:

A size large will not zip up on my 43.5 northwave road shoes, and there is no fitting them over my size 44 northwave mountain shoes.

If your shoes are 43 or larger get the extra large.

Yes, very tight/small. Even on road shoes.

    Comments about Cannondale Booties:

As others have noted, these things are small for their stated size. I took a chance on a great sale (price) and ordered them for my carbon road shoes (within their stated size). It took all my not-inconsiderable hand strength to get them on to the point that the zippers could close. Took 2-3 minutes per shoe. Order a larger size than specified if you can. Haven't actually ridden them yet so can't comment on warmth or tightness/comfort. They appear to be wind-proof and well-constructed. They have no stretch in their length, but some (not a lot) in their girth.

      Comments about Cannondale Booties:

Ordered the Small based on the sizing up to 43.5. I wear a 43 and the zipper broke trying to get it to my heal. There is at least a 2 inch gap preventing the cover from closing around the heal.

I did use the covers with my heal exposed and with just the ankle cuff closed. They were warm so other than the sizing I feel they are a good product.

      Comments about Cannondale Booties:

I needed new shoe covers that are warm, wind proof and water resistant/proof but not insanely expensive. These Cannondale covers were a good investment. They are made for road shoes but I bought a size larger than I wear and was able to get them over my mtn bike shoes without too much hassle. If they ran just a touch larger it would be nice but that's my only complaint. Wore these on the BT Epic race and they worked great. Ended up having to peel them off at the last check point because my feet were getting hot. For the price they are a great deal and seem to be of stout construction. I'd definitely recommend them to any cold weather riders.

Cannot say much about these booties except that they were much smaller than advertised and had to return them. If you want to buy these make sure you buy them in at least 5 sizes above your shoe size.
