Pros

  • Adequate Tint
  • Attractive Design
  • Good Protection
  • Lightweight
  • Resistant To Fogging
  • Stable They Don't Move
  • Surprisingly Good Optics

Cons

  • Nose Piece Is Tight
  • Too Wide For Narrow Faces

Best Uses

Comments about Nashbar Oculus Multi-Lens Sunglasses:

Overall good product with a few quirks. Spreading the nose bridge clips wasn't enough
to remedy the pressure indentations. The curvature of the lenses is more suited to wider
    faces.

Comments about Nashbar Oculus Multi-Lens Sunglasses:

Good for road biking in the aerodynamic positions of a road bike (if your road bike is set up this way. Not good for sitting upright position, because of the bottom of the lens is out of focus. Due to the short height of nearly all glasses, the bottom rim gives a out-of-focus view. Never see this though when road biking and in a road racer positioned bike.

Comments about Nashbar Oculus Multi-Lens Sunglasses:

Cycling glasses are a must on the bike; along with a well fit helmet. These are great for running, too. Inappropriate as sports glasses that are designed for impact, the Oculus design features easy lense change for differing light levels. Like any glasses, careful use delivers years of service. Mine have been through years of casual and competitive rides and runs without failure. These are by far the most cost-effective design for prescription cycling use.

Comments about Nashbar Oculus Multi-Lens Sunglasses:

After five rides, I've decided to toss these glasses in the old spare parts box. These glasses lack sufficient eye coverage due to the narrow lenses and the result is windburned eyes on any fast ride or descent. That's unsafe. I have a average sized face and these are a no go. Maybe they'll work for you if you want to risk it.

These are great with the Rx inserts. Excellent for long distance rides when the light changes and you don't want to wear contact lenses that long.

Comments about Nashbar Oculus Multi-Lens Sunglasses:

These would be a lot better if the lenses were just a bit larger for more eye coverage. I like the adjustable nose piece. This is done by hand so you have to be careful not to snap them off the frame. As for the multi-lens option, keep your main lenses in. Don't keep switching back and forth. You'll eventually break something. It's all plastic and weakens over time.

Only one issue with these. I purchased them because the pair of RXable I got from last year are getting there and wanted a new pair for my Nasbar RX inserts that I already had. They don't work with these glasses! They are pretty nice and a good value.

Comments about Nashbar Oculus Multi-Lens Sunglasses:

Being a contact lens wearer I was looking for a good amount of coverage of the eyes. Too many glasses, especially when your down on the hoods, feel like you are looking over the top, and the eyes dry fast. This is Wyoming where the wind is always blowing.
These glasses so far have met that expectation. Due in part to the adjustable nose pieces. More time will address the durability and scratch resistance of the lenses. The sale price was hard to resist so for the value they have been fine thus far. The frame is a little heavy and I did not expect the metal look. They are comfortable around the temples and stay in place even at good speeds on the bumpy chip seal roads.
