    Comments about Nashbar FR1 Saddle:

I'm need to replace the broken saddle on my Stumpjumper and the factory saddle cost more than hundred box...ufff. The FR1 is a very good direct replacement: size, weight, color, esthetic and performance. The best is the cost!! (only a small fraction of the factory saddle). If you want to have the best for the price, this is a #1 option.

      Comments about Nashbar FR1 Saddle:

Bought a 2015 Kestrel RT1000 that came with an Oval saddle, it caused numbness. Replaced it with a high-end "Terry" Race, it was pretty uncomfortable. The Nashbar FR1 saddle fits me better allows for more comfort for a quarter of the money - Well worth it's cost.

        Comments about Nashbar FR1 Saddle:

Most of my rides are in the 40-50 mile range on a Specialized road bike and so far I have no complaints at all about this saddle. Saddle is light and comfortable. Ample padding. This saddle is replacing an older Selle SMP($125) Not as much padding as the Selle, but just as comfy. The large cut out is what attracted me to this saddle as I've had problems with numbness on OEM saddles. Only had it for a couple weeks so can't comment on durability at this point. I can tell it's not quite the same quality as the Selle, but I think it'll hold up. No beefs so far at all.

          Comments about Nashbar FR1 Saddle:

I use this on my road bike. I've ridden a few rides with it now, both inside and outside, and it has been very comfortable. I prefer it to the crash-damaged name-brand saddle it replaced.

              Comments about Nashbar FR1 Saddle:

Original saddle on my '01 Fuji had more padding than an old Buick. Rode a Selle Italia for a few years which was great but didn't have an anatomical cutout. This saddle was a good solution: much less $ than a new Selle Italia and the cutout does the trick. Just bought another in white as I changed up bar tape from black to white and, hey, you gotta match saddle & tape, even on a tight budget!

                    Comments about Nashbar FR1 Saddle:

I'm mainly a road rider and have been riding with the local club for 25 years. Currently there are 7 uncomfortable saddles hanging on the wall. These days I usually only ride 30 to 50 miles but now, with the F-1 I plan to increase my mileage again. It's the most comfortable saddle I've ever ridden on and among the lightest. Time will tell how durable it is but it looks sturdy to me. I'd give it 4 1/2 stars if I could.

                      Comments about Nashbar FR1 Saddle:

Needed a seat to combat the numbness and support longer rides. Bought the first one for my steel frame commuter. Next one for my aluminum/carbon road bike. My recent was for a handy-me-down titanium. My one from harassed me for putting the Nashbar seat on the Guru, but I said it works great for me.

                            Comments about Nashbar FR1 Saddle:

I've had this saddle for several years and put 1,000s of miles on it. Feels good even on rides of 70+ miles without stopping. It has held up well. Saddle fit is a very individual thing so I can't say if it will work for you or not. What I can say at this price you are not taking too much of a chance to try it. I have tried a much more expensive saddle and it felt like a Hachett.

Some companies offer a free exchange is you don't like a saddle. However, for me it was a hassle to keep sending them back and it got expensive with return shipping.
