Flip flopping isn't just for politicians. The Nashbar Soho bike pedals give you the option to clip in on one side, or keep it casual and ride with your everyday shoes on the other. It's pretty much two pedals in one. There's no greasy hands, no remembering which way to turn the pedal wrench. Just put your shoes on and go.
  • Clipless pedal engagement is compatible with SPD-style two-bolt cleats
  • Adjustable release tension makes it easy to clip in or out
  • Reverse side uses an injection molded nylon platform
  • Plenty of surface area for a wide, comfortable pedaling platform
  • Molded ridges help you get some grip
  • Steel axle is durable and lightweight
  • Ideal for commuters, occasional riders, those that don't feel like clipping in just to go get a cup of coffee

Comments about Nashbar Soho Pedals:

They kept flipping to the clip side and was a pain to adjust back trying to go back uphill. Other than that they are nice.

    Comments about Nashbar Soho Pedals:

Bought these to use with my Nashbar Ragster Sandals after having my foot sucked out of traditional cages and sucked under the frame...no serious injury but very very lucky. Ride almost exclusively clipped in but enjoy the platform for short test rides. I have 1500 miles on these with no problems despite heavy torque. Great price, great looks.

Put these on my recumbent trike after have my foot sucked out of loose cages and sucked under the frame...no serious injury but extremely lucky. Combined these with Nashbar ragster Sandals and they have performed great...easy to clip in....u clipping not an issue on a trike but I tend to keep the, adjusted on the easy side. They are weighted so the the clip side is always towards me and ready to clip in. Have about 1500 miles with no complaints....a real bargain.

              Comments about Nashbar Soho Pedals:

Haven't had the pedals long - 150 miles, but really like them so far. Clean and simple. Not a lot of extra metal. An spd on one side, a flat platform on the other. That's it. I bike Pennsylvania roads with rolling hills and groomed trails. Both conditions require the occasional need to be disconnected from the bike but still have a surface the shoe can get a grip on. The Sohos have been reliable on both sides.

                Comments about Nashbar Soho Pedals:

Bought these to use on a commuter/gravel grinder that I also take out with the family. The ability to use non-cleat shoes during the family rides is a big bonus. I have put over 400 miles through these so far and they have held up fantastic. Standard maintenance so far: greased the bearing shaft inside the pedal body, tightened the torx bolts that hold the cleat portion of the pedal, greased the spring mechanism on the cleat body. They are easy to clip in and out of (only fell once and couldn't unclip in time due to operator error) and easy to adjust the tension. The float also helps save my knees a bit as I tend to move the bike a lot during hard climbs/sprints.

After years of ridding with cleats felt uncomfortable with flat pedals.these are great!
Can clip in when riding alone. Since I take my kids for bike rides using child seat I also bought from nashbar I want to use streat shoes so that I don't risk falling from not being able to unclip

I have the shimano pedals that are similar to these and these pedals out perform the shimano. Easier to release than shimano. Plan on buying these for my other bikes. Save over half the price than the Shimano.
