If there's thing that drives us absolutely crazy, it's dialing in a front derailleur. Even when we think we've got it pretty much right, that doesn't mean it won't still drop a chain or rub every now and again. So we're pretty glad that SRAM introduced their all-new 2013 SRAM Red Braze-On Front Derailleur. By incorportating something SRAM calls YAW technology, this new front derailleur is probably the biggest evolution in front shifting in a long time. Instead of just moving the cage back and forth, the YAW derailleur actually rotates as well, so you no longer need to trim the derailleur. That means faster, smoother and more precise shifting. They also incorporated a chain keep, so you can say good bye to dropped chains, even with a badly aligned derailleur.
