Comments about Nashbar Streetwise City Tire:

I normally mountain bike, but got these for a 50 mile rail trail charity ride. They fit right on my 29er rims, and rolled easily on the trail. Good tire for a good price; don't think, just buy.

Comments about Nashbar Streetwise City Tire:

    Recumbent, ("stick bike") 26" X 1.50" size
I've had three different tire sets on this bike so far, all except these tires were 26" x 1.25". In order of least to best liked: Kenda Kwest, (felt dead and slow) Panasonic Pasela, (light and easy rolling but somewhat fragile) Primo Racer (hard to find or expensive) and these. I've only taken one ride after mounting them but noticed immediately that the ride was smoother. On my usual route I achieved the same average speed as my fastest ride this year using the Paselas.
    - Almost didn't buy these because the listed maximum pressure is only 40 psi. I called to verify this and was told it was correct. Still skeptical, I ordered anyway. Tire sidewall says 45-60 psi.
    - Actual weight according to my digital kitchen scale was as listed. (376 gm)

I commute to work on a mountain bike converted for street use. I am on my third set of Streetwise tires, and they are great. They have less rolling resistance and great longevity. And the price point is excellent.

Comments about Nashbar Streetwise City Tire:

Super duper tires. These are my first adventure into semi slicks. Popped them onto my spare set of disc wheels then onto my Carver titanium mountain rig. Wow. - Completely changes the handling from my steady and straight dirt hammer into a happy fast road commuter machine. Gotta love Nashbar for offering stuff that nobody else wants to stock, 26" tires! I'm sorry bike industry, as a little person, I'm sticking with my small wheels 650c and 26" Thank you NASHBAR!

Comments about Nashbar Streetwise City Tire:

I've bought this tire in both
                26 x 1.5, and 700c x 35.
If you ride a mountain bike
or hybrid on paved road, rail
trails, or multiple use paths, you will be much happier with Streetwise than
                knobby tires. So much more
                comfortable, quieter, faster,
                and better-looking, too.
At this price, its a great deal. Highly recommended.
