Comments about Nashbar Grinder Mountain Tire - 26", 27.5", 29":

For the price this tire can't be beat. Unless you are really racing I can't see this tire being anything but perfect.

Climbing they work fine and they go on super easy. They just don't hold in corners like my WTB race tires. For the price and intended user, they are perfect. But if you're a broke racer trying to save a dime, stick with brand name tires.

I have these on my SS training bike. I noticed that I would lose pressure while riding.I would start out great but by the end of 20 miles of singletrack I would have squishy tires. I attribute this to a really flexy sidewall.

The tread is good for gripping the trail. I like the aggressive pattern and the looks of these tires. They have brought life back to my trusty older Trek bike.

29 inch tire provides good traction and is well made. I found the tire was a little too big for my bike. It rubs on my front derailleur on the small sprocket. It doesn't rub at lower pressures (35psi) so I will save it for winter riding.

I've been on Panaracer Fire XC pro's and decided to try out the Grinder strictly for the price. I am truly impressed on the smooth rolling and grip on the roads and loose dirt. Going to the trails this weekend to give it a try.

Great set of tires, I needed to replace my Kenda Nevegal's for my 29er and I had been thinking about picking up a set of these. They are so worth it in everyway. The price is hands down great and they are a slight step under my old kendas. They have so much grip even in the lose dirt, gravel and sand they hook right up. They are just a tad bit more weight then my kenda's but for a wire bead tire they are not to bad at all. You would never guess they are nashbar house brand unless you see the logo.

Nashbar did a great job on these. I will be replacing all my tires with these guys once they wear out. Since they have them in 26,27.5 and 29er. Now only if they had a fat bike tire! Dont miss out on these, on sale and with free ship you cant even get one Kenda for the price of a set! If you can find a better tire for a cheaper price Id be more then happy to eat my nashbar grinders!

I am riding all single track with lots of roots, climbs, fast twisty stuff, fast downhills, log piles you name it. They work and very well! No problems with flats and I run them with 26-29psi depending on trail conditions. These are just as good as the 26er Senor Traction Tires Nashbar had out and I am sad I didnt get more of them while I had the chance!
