Comments about NiteRider Lumina 650 Headlight:

Great light, really lights up the road on early morning commutes in the fall. Great price from Nashbar. I had read other reviews that stated this light interfered with the signals on wireless cycling speedometers. I have experienced no issues in that regard.

Comments about NiteRider Lumina 650 Headlight:

This light works great even in daytime. While passing through a local community I had two vehicles pass and then think about turning right in front of me. Even with the light on low they both stopped and allowed me to pass before turning. Several previous times I had to jump on the brakes to avoid crashing into vehicles turning in front of me. Between my Super Flash tail light and this Nightrider Lumina 650 vehicles can better recognize me on the road when I'm cruising 17 to 22 mph.

Comments about NiteRider Lumina 650 Headlight:

I had bought a couple of LED headlights previously, which I give to my kid who breaks or loses them.

The last two were Night Rider like the 650 but used disposable batteries. I think they were about a watt output. I really like the screw-on handlebar clamp as opposed to the ratchet clamp. This 650 is very bright. It has 4 settings: low, medium, high and disco.

I caught a fawn in my strobe going around my block the other night. It seemed to be temporarily disoriented but hopped away. LED lights are great and this is a good one; very powerful.

Comments about NiteRider Lumina 650 Headlight:

I was always jealous of my biking friends super bright lights however, spending $200 bucks for a headlight was out of my budget. The niterider 650 light is perfect for my needs, late night trail biking and commuting at dusk. It gives a wide 5 ft intense beam with additional less intense wider lighting range. I highly recommend this light and at this price its a winner.

This was on sale, and I bought it becuase it will fit the same bracket as an older Limina that I have, allowing me to charge one and use the other.
