This bike is road ready for all weather, all road conditions, any time of day, and even has a rear carrier for small luggage. The Breezer Beltway 8+ city bike has all of components a real bike commuter needs; a precise drivetrain, powerful brakes, and tires that don't quit. It also features an array of add-ons that make it the only machine you'll need for commuting.
The Breezer Beltway 8+ has a hydroformed aluminum frame and an aluminum disc fork. These keep this bike lightweight enough to be carried up several flights of stairs, and durable enough to withstand neglected pavement. The frame also includes dual water bottle mounts and low-rider rack mounts.
For a drivetrain that can tackle most any commute, the Beltway 8+ features smooth Shimano Alfine shifters with RapidFire and a Breezer crankset. The RapidFire addition to the shifters allows cyclists to shift super quickly, and downshift 3 gears in one stroke. The Breezer crankset is a custom built component that keeps the weight of the Beltway+ low, while still providing great working ability.
The Beltway 8+ comes standard with Schwalbe Marathon Racer tires. That's right, these racing tires come with the bike. They're excellent for commuters in a rush, because they're built to perform at a higher level than most road tires. The Beltway 8+ also includes Shimano Trekking hydraulic disc brakes for stopping power that match the bike's quick racing tires.

Several awesome extras also come with the Breezer Beltway 8+, that make it road ready for nearly any traveling circumstance. These include an Axa Blueline 30 lux headlight, an Axa Blueline LED tail light, polycarbonate fenders, an aluminum rear carrier with a spring loaded arm, a bell, and a kickstand.
