The Crankbrothers Cobalt 1 29" mountain wheels are a value-packed, entry level aluminum wheelset that's perfect for cross country and trail riding. These wheels are stunning both visually and on the trails due to Crankbrothers' unique design that's based on principles of strength, stiffness, and acceleration - exactly what every mountain biker seeks out. The Cobalt 1 wheels feature Twinpair spoke technology which pairs 2 sets of 12 spokes (so 24 spokes/wheel front and rear) to maximize strength and stiffness. They're incredibly user-friendly, too, as there's only one spoke length for all the spokes both front and rear. The 6061-T6 anodized aluminum rims plus the Cobalt 6061-T6 hubs are the epitome of strength, reliability, plus smooth-rolling performance thanks to sealed cartridge bearings.
