Delta X-Mount Pro Phone Holder (Stem Mount)
Several years ago, I purchased a Delta X-Mount Pro. It worked great and has continued to provide good service. When I purchased a new bike less than a year ago, I purchased another - what I thought was - the same unit. It wasn't. It was inferior to the original unit.
In fact, on your page, you show what Delta refers to as the "X-Mount Bike Phone Holder" (when - in fact - you are shipping the "X-Mount Pro"). Essentially, you are promoting the better unit, then shipping a lesser quality unit. The unit I purchased from Nashbar failed in less than two weeks of use, when the set screw in the middle came out, causing my phone to fly off the mount when I was riding at 20 mph.
The original unit I purchased is far more substantial, with a base unit (on which the phone rests) much larger than the unit at the top of the page. Unlike the second unit I purchased from you (that failed), it has no single set screw. Had I been riding my bike with the first unit I purchased, I wouldn't have needed to replace my broken phone.
Not realizing I could order directly from Delta, I purchased what was shown on Nashbar's site (https://www.nashbar.com/delta-xmount-pro-phone-holder-stem-mount-hl6800/p720605), but did not receive that unit.
Because of this, a five star rating of your product becomes a one star rating. Now, because of your confusing marketing (you are - in fact - representing one unit but shipping a different unit. I'd like to return what I've purchased from you - not for a replacement (of another inferior unit).
