As one of only three critical touch points between your body and the bike, handlebar shape, size, and material matter. That's why the Forte Clutch Carbon Riser Handlebars offer the best of both function and performance. This modern-day design, with a 780mm width, 15mm of rise, and a 9-degree sweep places you in a confident position and gives you the leverage to tackle varied, obstacle-strewn terrain.

All-carbon construction, with a unidirectional weave that's perfectly smooth to the eye as well as the hand, provides an optimum strength-to-weight ratio. To prevent bar slip, the Clutch Carbon features a textured clamp zone for any 31.8mm clamp stem, while the oversized diameter adds strength and rigidity. And if you want to customize your bar's width, each end includes cutting increments.

Forte Clutch Carbon Riser Handlebar (Black) (31.8mm) (15mm Rise) (780mm)
I was looking for a bar with a little extra rise over my alloy flat bar. The angles are comfortable, the rise was just enough, and the bars are light and appear well made. At the clamp area, a textured material is added to prevent the bar from slipping, and it seems to work as intended. I can't speak to longevity, as I only have one ride on these bars. They include markings to make trimming them down easier. I trimmed 10 mm of each end and the width is perfect for me. They do not flex, but they do damp vibrations and don't ride as harsh as my allow bars did. I'm running them on a 2021 Scott Spark 120/130 full squish trail bike if that helps. Rocky and rooty conditions where I ride, so I appreciate that little extra comfort a carbon bar provides. Oh, and a bargain at the current sale price. Nothing flashy about the appearance, just a quality finish, looks good on the bike.
