The Giro Helios Spherical Helmet is a high-performance revolution created for road cyclists, gravel enthusiasts, and adventure riders. The foundation of this helmet is Giro's Spherical Technology which employs a ball-and-socket design powered by MIPS, the industry-leading brain protection system that can help to reduce rotational forces prevalent in bike crashes by allowing the helmet's outer liner to rotate around the inner liner. Progressive Layering of both of these liners provides thorough protection and performance. 15 Wind Tunnel vents produce exceptional cooling powers and are magnified by the patented Roc Loc 5 Air fit system and comfortable, antimicrobial XT2 padding to help with sweat absorption. Whether it's on flying on pavement or crushing gravel, the Helios Spherical helmet will elevate any rider's adventure.

Features:

  • MIPS Spherical design reduces rotational forces during a crash and redirects impact energy
  • Roc Loc 5 Air fit system
  • 15 air vents with internal channeling provide extreme cooling
  • Antimicrobial padding is plush and promotes sweat absorption
  • CPSC and CE EN1078 certified

Helmet Measurements:

  • Wrap a measuring tape around your head
  • Make sure that tape is level from front to back
  • Note measurement and reference Size Chart
Circumference (cm)
XS47 - 51cm
S51 - 55cm
M55 - 59cm
L59 - 63cm
XL61 - 65cm

Note: Make sure the helmet fits with a little room when the fit system is loose, and sits low enough to protect your forehead without hindering your vision. Once you've got the right size, you can adjust the fit.

How to Adjust Fit:

  1. Adjust the fit system at the rear of the helmet for a snug, secure fit. Some helmets also include a vertical tuning feature that allows you to adjust the fore/aft tilt, for optimal positioning on your head.
  2. Adjust the straps so that they sit just below the earlobes.
  3. Adjust the buckle so that it rests against the back of the jaw/throat.
  4. Adjust the interior pads if needed.
  5. Check the fit to make sure helmet is comfortable and secure. It should not roll forward or back, or be able to slide off.

Note: All measurements are provided by the manufacturer and may vary depending on how measurements are acquired.
