Points are awarded to riders according to the position that they finish each stage, and there are additional points for intermediate sprints during some stages. Stage winners get the most points, with less points awarded to those that cross second, third, etc. Blah blah blah. We think the requirement for winning this jersey should be to pull up to the rider in first place, pretend to roll down an imaginary window, ask, “Pardon me, do you have any Grey Poupon?”, throw a bunch of condiment packets at them, speed into first place, and cackle, “Bwahaha, you’ve been duped by Dijon!”
