I think I’ve figured out why NiteRider frequently releases new models. It’s so all negative product feedback can be swept away. The micro-USB connection is junk. Failed on my friends taillight and mine has to be jiggled around to get it to charge.
This week I ordered a Lezyne ebike light and will be getting their taillight to replace my Omega. Hopefully It’ll be more dependable.

HORRIBLE QUALITY!!WASTE OF MONEY!!
Did not last a month. No longer receives charge or turns on.
This is my second NR......, the first was a larger tail light, both charger connections have failed.
