Full disclosure: this is the first new fork I've ever needed, but it's light and beautifully finished. It's also about the only new 1" steerer option around, which I need for my 62 cm '90 Merlin titanium. Along with Campy Zondas and 28mm GP5000s, the resulting combination delivers precise steering with apparently good shock absorption. I'm a happy rider, and I may buy another for my '91 Fuji titanium.
