While it's always good to carry a spare, some spare tires can just get in the way. Saris, however, has created the Freedom Spare Tire Rack to convert your vehicle's factory-installed spare tire into a mount for the world's first tray-style spare tire rack. The spare tire rack can carry up to two adult bicycles with a maximum weight of 35 lbs. per bike. The rack features a steel frame for strength and reliability while still keeping the rack's weight low enough for easy installation and removal. Each bike is secured via a rubber holder around the down tube as well as ratcheting straps to secure each wheel. And for optimum versatility, the rack is compatible with adult bikes that have wheel sizes of 26", 27.5", 29" or 700c.
