Schwalbe Big Apple Tire (Wire Bead) (Performance Line) (20 x 2.0)
I’ve been running Big Apples for nearly twenty years. Twenty’s on a Catrike and Twenty-sixers on an older V-900 Cannondale. They turned the catrike into a gravel trike and the
mountain bike into a real cross country do anything bike. They are light, smooth, awesome riding, and fast !

Schwalbe Big Apple Tire (Wire Bead) (Performance Line) (26 x 2.0)
Pleasantly surprised by Nashbar sending the Schwalbe tire quickly after qualifying for the free shipping offer. Received it a couple of days ago. The wire bead tire installed easily on my old rear mountain bike wheel and I went for my first ride yesterday. Enjoyable smooth and quiet ride on an asphalt covered section of the East Coast Greenway and a few rural roads. Plowed melting snow along the sides made for occasional patches of water. Crunched a lot of salt on the sides of the roads. Cornering is noticeably smoother than my old rear tire. The reflective whitewall rings are a nice touch. The tread is good for hard surfaces and the shape of the tire absorbs bumps. The Schwalbe Site has a table of proper inflation based on rider weight and tire size to get the optimum ride from these. Here's their 2" recommended data after conversion from metric for your convenience: 132 lbs rider = 36 psi, 187 lbs = 58 psi, 243 lbs = 72 psi.
