The Claris RD-R2000 Rear Derailleur B-Axle Assembly is designed to attach the rear derailleur body to a bicycles derailleur hanger, and this assembly will also help to adjust the distance between the derailleur pulley and the cassette cogs for optimal shifting performance and minimal drivetrain noise. If the bolt that attaches the derailleur body to the bicycle becomes damaged or the b-tension unit is not working properly, this assembly includes everything needed to get the rear derailleur back to optimal shifting performance.
