Sidi uses Wind Tex fabric for total wind blocking with the added benefit of water resistance. Wind Tex is also breathable so moisture can escape helping to keep your feet warm and dry while water cant get back in. There are openings for the cleat and heel as well as reflective striping on the back to keep you visible in low light. A rear zipper with a Velcro tab at the top keeps them snugly on your feet and holds the zipper from falling down.
