TyreKey Tire Lever Tool

It's really refreshing to see a new take on the tire lever. I don't know that this is the be-all, end-all of tire levers, but it has been handy to have. It looks like it will only it road and maybe some gravel tires. For road tubeless tires, they are still tough to get on, but easier than a standard level. No risk of pinching a tube on a standard tires is great!

I bought this tool because it was advertised as great for removing and re-installing a tire. I'm disappointed with it. It does not really work at all for removing a tire from the bead. I struggled with it and then went back to the traditional lever tools. It is somewhat functional for getting the tire back on, but not really much of an improvement over using your hands. Not worth the price. Save your money.

Over a couple decades of riding, replacing a punctured tube on the road became a task of less than five minutes, even using a frame pump. Currently riding 700x25mm Continental GP 5000s on Cannondale's HollowGram Si Carbon Clincher wheelset. Used to absolutely dread getting a puncture with this wheelset! Still don't like dealing with a puncture, but Tyrekey has taken the process from 20 minutes of sweat and curses back to just being a few minutes delay in a ride.

I've struggled with fixing flats due to poor hand strength. Getting the tire bead over those last 6 inches was difficult. The TyreKey works really well and is a much-appreciated assist.I was initially concerned that it felt a little flimsy but it is very functional.

I used the key for the first time about two weeks ago. It worked great! I use Gator Skin tires and they usually a challenge to remove but not this time.

Works well but just a little too long to fit in the saddlebag.

brilliant idea for narrow tires. works as advertised

TyreKey does what it claims to. The problem I have with it is that the material doesn't seem very durable. I've only used it several times and the tool is starting show signs of extreme wear. I fear that after a few more uses it will break and then I'll be out of a very useful tool. It does do a fantastic job of putting a very tight fitting road tire on a rim.

I have not had the opportunity to use the Tyrekey yet, thank God, and so I carry it with me every time I bike and that's 100 miles weekly...

The tyrekey made changing my new tire super quick and easy. I was struggling to get the last bit of the tire over the rim, but the tyrekey did it with ease.

The video shows an obviously very well used softened tire bead. I would like to see this used on a brand new tire that has a much more rigid bead. Generally speaking, not impressed with video depiction of the effectiveness of this tool.
