The Vittoria Corsa Speed is a super fast open tubular for pure speed events, profiled for the latest wide-aero rims. With the addition of Graphene, this is arguably the fastest tire in the world.
According to test results by an independent test lab Wheel Energy in Finland, Vittoria determined it has developed the fastest bicycle tire ever measured. The new Graphene-enhanced, tubeless-ready Corsa Speed showed a 40% advantage over the same product without Graphene.
Vittoria’s Corsa Speed is available in a tubular version as well as an open tubular. Using the exact same cotton Corespun casing technology, it delivers a perfect match for wide aero tubular rims. This open tubular (clincher) version of the Corsa Speed weighs only 205 grams.
The Corsa Speed (Open Tubular) is available in size 23mmx28” (700 x23c).
Graphene Makes Tires Intelligent
Our Graphene-enhanced compounds become harder and softer, depending on the needs of the rider. If the tire is rolling straight, the rubber is at its hardest and offers low rolling resistance. If the rider breaks, accelerates or corners, the compounds soften and offer significantly more grip.
G+Isotech is Vittoria’s unique Graphene compound with revolutionary G+, as provided by technology partner Directa Plus. No compromise is necessary with this compound that is superior in speed (rolling resistance), grip, durability and wear resistance.
Effectively, the introduction of Graphene allows for natural material barriers of rubber to be removed, which means that there is no longer the need for compromises between speed, grip, durability and puncture resistance. All these features are now reaching their maximum possibilities.
In short, Vittoria is about to start a cycling revolution.
Tubeless Corespun casing, can also be used with an inner tube. The fastest bicycle tire ever independently measured is equipped with the lightest tubeless-ready casing in the market, with a construction that is capable of self-healing virtually all punctures.
