Giro Women's Sutton MIPS Helmet is a low profile design loaded up with clever features to help urban riders and commuters get more out of their ride. All of the essentials are here including a tough outer shell and a soft visor to shade your eyes, an integrated light clip at the back which allows you to snap your light to your helmet for enhanced visibility, and a reinforced vent becomes a durable lock port so you can lock your helmet to the bike for convenience. All Giro helmets are designed to reduce as much energy as possible while meeting and exceeding stringent safety standards. The goal of giros MIPS-equipped helmets, including the Sutton MIPS, is to reduce rotational forces. We believe that helmets equipped with this technology can reduce the amount of rotational force that may be transferred to the brain in certain impacts.

Features:

  • Internal channeling ventilation
  • 8 vents
  • CPSC Bicycle Certified
  • Full-wrap in mold construction
  • Roc Loc City fit system

Helmet Measurements:

  • Wrap a measuring tape around your head
  • Make sure that tape is level from front to back
  • Note measurement and reference Size Chart
Circumference (cm)
S52cm - 55.5cm
M55.5cm - 59cm
L59cm - 62.5cm
XL62.5cm - 65cm

Note: Make sure the helmet fits with a little room when the fit system is loose, and sits low enough to protect your forehead without hindering your vision. Once you've got the right size, you can adjust the fit.

How to Adjust Fit:

  1. Adjust the fit system at the rear of the helmet for a snug, secure fit. Some helmets also include a vertical tuning feature that allows you to adjust the fore/aft tilt, for optimal positioning on your head.
  2. Adjust the straps so that they sit just below the earlobes.
  3. Adjust the buckle so that it rests against the back of the jaw/throat.
  4. Adjust the interior pads if needed.
  5. Check the fit to make sure helmet is comfortable and secure. It should not roll forward or back, or be able to slide off.

Note: All measurements are provided by the manufacturer and may vary depending on how measurements are acquired.
