Kuat Transfer V2 Platform Hitch Rack (Black) (2 Bikes) (2" Receiver)
Wanted to get the Kuat Sherpa but the rack could not fit the 49" wheelbase of my mountain bike. I decided to give the Kuat Transfer a try as th 2" hitch version I purchased was rated for RV use. Was hesitant at first since the wheel trays are plastic but they are solid and fit the wheels of my 2.8" mountain bike as well as the 25cc tires of my road bike. Wanted a rack that did not impinge on the frame and the hook arm holds the bike down securely without scratches. The rack is made very stable in a hitch receiver with the flatlock hitch cam with no wobbles as in other racks. It folds up easily if not transporting bikes. Comes with a cable lock so don't have to buy any extras to securely tow your bicycles. All tools are included for assembly as well. Only drawback is a little pricey (still $200 less than the Sherpa) but you get lifetime warranty.
