When a dropped chain is not an option, grab a Wolf Tooth Gnarwolf Chain Guide for an easy solution. Designed for maximum chain retention for mountain biking, muddy CX racing, and adventurous gravel riding. Fully adjustable to fit a range of chainring sizes and chain lines while being fully rebuildable to ensure years of hard use.

Features:

• Infinite chainline adjustment between 45mm and 51mm via an elliptical expanding mandrel. There are no shims required
• Loosen one screw to flip the guide out of the way for easy chain removal without losing any of the guide's adjustments
• All adjustments made with common 4 mm hex key
• Designed for the rigors of Enduro, heavy trail, mud and even DH riding, the Wolf Tooth engineers made this guide extremely stiff and strong while keeping it light at 44g
• Specific guide shaping is optimized for use with elliptical/oval and round chainrings
• ISCG05 Max chainring: Oval (34T) Round (36T)
• Design and manufactured in Minneapolis, MN USA with 7075-T6 Aluminum and stainless steel hardware

Fit Note on the ISCG05: Due to frame and bike geometry there will be some bikes that need modifications or flat out won't work - Here are the known exceptions: Ibis Mojo 3 (will not work), Ibis Ripmo (will not work), Ibis Ripley (will not work), Specialized Stumpjumper 2016-2017 models (works with 1mm of spacers between the frames ISCG05 mounts and the guide, washers not included), Evil The Following (will not work), Santa Cruz Tallboy (will not work)
